With the Freewheel Folding Wheelchair Adapter individuals with folding wheelchairs can also experience the independence, freedom and added safety the FreeWheel provides.
Using the horizontal side tubing, the Adapter securely clamps on to a folding wheelchair. Once set up for the individual chair, it comes on and off in seconds, making it easy to use.

Will it fit?
- Need 2.5” of round, horizontal side tubing to attach Folding Wheelchair Adapter. May be angled, as long as the sides are parallel.
- Round horizontal tubing may be 1” or 1-1/8” in diameter.
- Width between horizontal tubing 13” to 19”.
- Maximum height 4” on single footrest.
- Side tubing height: 2 footrests 6” to 16”. Single footrest 10” to 16”.
- FreeWheel clamps on to "HITCH”.

Strong and AdaptableThis is a strong and sturdy adapter with a large amount of adaptability. Can be installed and removed without tools so you can still fold your chair when needed. I've installed this on a Quickie Xenon 2 Hybrid, which is not a conventional folding chair, but made possible thanks to the wide range of adjustment available. Be aware that there is flex in the system and this requires you to set a shallower angle to compensate, which means the bracket can be too low to allow FreeWheel attachment without lifting the front wheels.
