We have used the Tyre Glider on this combination to great success. What used to take us anywhere from 15 minutes to half an hour with standard tyre levers now takes us less than five minutes. The strength of the Tyre Glider is more than enough to cope with this challenge.

works ok.I bought this tyre glider after seeing a cyclist review of it on youtube, being a full time wheelchair user that has used the dreaded marathon plus tyres for many years now, i like alot of others find it very hard to remove and replace the hard beaded marathon plus tyres and this tyre glider really does help but the only issue i found was the wheelchair push rims can get in the way and make it tricky to get the tyre off, otherwise its a cheap in-expensive tool that does help you do the job.

TYRE GLIDER- it works..kind of.Removing of the tyre went well and replacing kind of went well except that you do need a dab of washing up liquid to help things along and i did find that the fixing points on my push rims did prevent the glider from moving along easily ( something you wouldn't encounter with cycle wheels) but you just need to adjust your angle. overall its a pretty good piece of kit that defiantly saves your hands and your swearing!

Tyre GliderI was replacing marathon tyres on spinergy wheels. I found the tyre glider wasn't great for removing the old ones but refitting was brilliant. It requires a good grip though. I think the removal end of the tool needs to be a bit longer in order to reach the tyre bead effectively. Yes I did push the tyre beads into the middle.

Game changerThis is literally a game changer. Like many, I've struggled for the last 20 years with Shwalbe/Spingery combo - swearing, pinched tubes, bent thumbs etc. But this literally takes less than two minutes remove or put on a tyre. Genuinely breathtaking., What an amazing design. TOP TIP: put a bit of liquid soap on the tool, this makes it glide easier. Genuinely brilliant.

For the first time ever I was able to put a Marathon Plus on a Spinergy wheelUnbelievably brilliant - although some strength was required as the tyre was nearing being fully on, I was still able to push the tyre glider fully round after easing it as the instructions said. And no scratches on the brand new rim! I haven't yet tried taking the tyre off, but I am hopeful it will prove equally effective.
